Book Review: One Call Away: Answering Life's Challenges with Unshakable Faith

Brenda Warner takes us backstage into her life; her hard days as a wife and mom, and her triumphs. She relates her actions to her faith. It is refreshing to be a part of her vulnerability as she weaves her life experiences and her efforts to be the best she can be with her desire to please God.

This was a great read, moved along quickly, and was definitely hard to put down.

I was sometimes irritated at her glossing over of her lack of remorse for some of those things in her life that were regrettable. This came across to me as 'no big deal'. But it also reminds me that I need to be more aggressive in this area also. I definitely was turned off several times by her casualness toward her obedience to God. But, then again, I must take this to heart in my own life.

Good read, moved along quickly 5/5 stars.
Christian truths and application, 2/5 stars.
